MOD APPLICATIONS: THE REVENGE

As our little town that could continues to grow, so too does our work as mods. We're always looking for new talent to join the mod team and help us create the best possible game about wanton murder and brainwashing — with a smile!

We're Still Here's mod team consists of three separate roles (or classes, if we're going to go full RPG):

PLOT MOD: Handles the metaplot first and foremost and all tasks relating to it, including creating events, playing NPCs, and weaving potential character plots into the greater narrative.

ASSISTANT PLOT MOD: Monitors the FAQ and answers new questions as they arise. Handles Event Suggestions/Engagements on the corresponding page, communicating with other players on how to facilitate their plots and interactions with the game world and NPCs. Processes death and Tranquilization requests. Makes updates to the Housing page, including processing new assignments.

LIST MOD: Handles the Taken/Reserves/Hiatus and Drop/Canon Updates Pages. Formats event and OOC posts. Creates graphics if needed. Processes applications.

Currently, we are looking for three assistant plot mods and three list mods — a total of six mods for the team. Don't feel like you have to go off the rails answering any of these questions; feel free to be as informal or detailed as you like.

This isn't necessary, but it's definitely a plus. <b>What do you look for in a mod team?</b> Basically, what expectations do you have for WSH's mod team? This is a good way to see if we're all on the same wavelength, so be honest and straightforward. <u><b>PLOT MODS ONLY</b></u> (delete this section if you're not applying for this position!) <b>How often can you do NPC tags?</b> Additionally, would you be interested in being assigned your own NPC? <b>What draws you to this game?</b> Do you like horror? Do you just like the time period? Essentially, what is it about the game's story that makes it sound appealing to write for? <b>What genres of horror do you like?</b> Do you like psychological horror that draws upon things like unstable memories and gaslighting? Do you have any preferences for gore? Do you like Stephen King's ultra detailed, visceral brand of horror, or do you like something a little more abstract like Silent Hill? There are no right or wrong answers to this question so feel free to give examples! <b>Plot/Event Idea:</b> This doesn't have to be very elaborate or fully-baked, but I'd like to see you demonstrate an ability to plan an event or plot from start to finish with a beginning, middle and end.
